Since the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament began a couple of weeks ago, no doubt both your staff and customers have found it difficult to keep their attention away from all the football games.
That is why it could be a good idea to celebrate the finals of the championships by hosting a special football party on July 10th, when the competition comes to a head.
In order to do this, you need to start preparing for the special event now by ordering banners, teardrop flags and leaflets to promote it. That way, you can get lots of people to come and celebrate the finals at your establishment.
Don’t forget to advertise it on social media as well, posting it on your Facebook and Twitter feeds to attract attention from those who want to do not want to watch the highly anticipated match in their homes.
Of course, you need a large enough television screen so everyone can see. You might even need to hire a projector screen if your premises is big enough, making sure everyone gets a good view of the game.
Make sure you have enough drinks and snacks in, and you can even serve nibbles at half-time. This helps boost morale (particularly during a tense or frustrating match), as well as makes sure football fans stay sober during the heated finale.
Of course, pubs, restaurants, cafes and social clubs do not have to wait till the finals to show the Euros, with the quarter-finals taking place next Thursday (June 30th) and the semi-finals being held on July 6th.
